Summer Fun in Portland
There’s lots of summer fun in Portland to be had during the month of July not far from Portland Nordic Inn & Suites. From free concerts, to craft beer festivals and more, you will find great outdoor activities happening every day of the week. Summer concerts in the park feature popular bands performing at parks in various neighborhoods around Portland each night beginning at 6:30pm.

The 2017 Oregon Brewers Festival happens from July 26-30 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland along the Willamette River. The festival featuring over 80 beers, pub food, live music and more. Live bands perform while you have the opportunity to roam around the fairgrounds tasting craft beer from all over the country and enjoying delicious food from popular Portland restaurants. The NW Book Festival also happens in downtown Portland, just a short walk from the waterfront, at Pioneer Courthouse Square. It’s a free event held on Saturday, July 29th, and features sixty authors displaying their latest books and signing autographs. At this festival, you will have the rare opportunity to meet and greet many famous authors and find out more about their work.
